A little bit about me...

Edie Jensen brings a teacher's heart, a creative eye, and a genuine love of helping people to her career in real estate. For the past 32 years, Edie has called the Manhattan and St. George area home, building strong community connections through her family and her years as an educator. She taught primarily kindergarten, music, and art in the Geary County, Manhattan, and Rock Creek school districts. Her love of music has also included directing adult and children's choirs and teaching piano lessons. The relationships Edie has built through the years have shaped the way she works with people today. She believes in listening carefully, being patient, offering encouragement, and meeting people where they are. Her background in art and music has also taught her to look closely, recognize what makes something special, and help others see possibilities they may not have seen themselves. A lifelong Kansan, Edie grew up in a large family on a farm in rural far western Kansas and later lived and taught in the Hays and Kansas City areas. Those experiences gave her an appreciation for rural, small-town, and city living - and the many different places people call home. Edie brings that perspective and a lifelong interest in homes and design to real estate. Having helped design the home she and her husband, Trevor, built, she appreciates how thoughtfully considered spaces can shape the way a home looks, feels, and functions. Edie believes clients should feel listened to, informed, and genuinely cared for throughout the process. For her, home is about people, memories, community, and belonging - and she would be honored to help you find your way home.
